FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you travel out of state for on-location shoots or destination weddings?
Yes, but I will need travel, hotel and, food accommodations.
Is there a travel fee for your services?
Yes, the rate I quote includes the travel fee, ensuring transparency in pricing.
How do you practice hygiene?
I'm trained to keep everything sanitized. Before each workday, I clean and disinfect all my tools and brushes.
How long does a makeup application take?
It varies, usually between 30 minutes to 2 hours. Once I know the details, I can give you a better estimate.
What makeup brands do you use?
I use professional brands like Ben Nye, Kryolan, and luxury brands like Lancôme and Maybelline. All brands in my kit photograph well and last long.
Do you offer hairstyling services?
Yes, I offer light hairstyling services. For more complex styles, I can refer you to professional hair artists whose rates and contracts are separate from mine.
What do I need to prepare a space for you?
Please have a space with an outlet for my tools, a table, and a tall chair. Let me know if these aren't available so I can provide my own and add more time for set-up if needed.
What is the booking process?
To book, fill out the form on my website. If no additional information is needed, I'll provide a rate that includes the travel fee and touchup kit (for non-production clients). For non-production clients, a retainer and signed contract are required to secure the booking.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel, there's a $25 rescheduling fee or you forfeit your retainer. No-shows lose their retainer and need to pay a 50% retainer to rebook.
What are your payment methods? Do you do payment plans?
I accept cash, card, Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, and now offer payment plans through Affirm and Afterpay.
Do you offer makeup lessons?
Yes, 2-hour one-on-one lessons are $250. Group and online lessons are coming soon.
Do you do special effects?
Only basic ones like scars, old age hair, bruises, and blood.
How long does it take to set up your equipment?
Setup usually takes about 5 minutes with my kit and 10 minutes if I bring my chair and table. I prefer to arrive a bit early to ensure everything is ready on time.
